Jesus‑centered. Rooted in Scripture. Reaching our city with the Gospel.

Join us Sundays at 5 p.m.

WHO WE ARE

We're a Jesus-centered, Scripture-shaped community, growing in love and sharing Gospel hope and light with our city.

Jesus-centered

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We unashamedly worship and proclaim His name as our only hope for life and light in this world, now and for eternity.

Rooted in Scripture

God has revealed Himself to us through His written Word, the Bible.  We sing the Word, pray the Word and preach the Word as our ultimate authority and guide.

Reaching our city with the Gospel

As those who experienced forgiveness and salvation through Jesus, our deep desire is to see our city transformed by the grace and love that is found in Him alone.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Lapa Church stands joyfully within the historic Christian faith, confessing the Triune God revealed in Scripture and affirmed throughout the church’s history. We believe that God has spoken in the Bible—“the verbally inspired Word of God, utterly authoritative and without error”—and that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the heart of our message, announcing salvation through His life, death, and resurrection. We affirm the dignity of all people as God’s image-bearers, the reality of sin and our need for redemption, and the gracious plan of God to save a people for Himself from every nation.

We hold that Jesus Christ is the only Savior, that the Holy Spirit gives new life and empowers believers, and that the church is God’s new covenant community, called to love, holiness, mission, and mutual care. As Baptists, we practice believer’s baptism, the Lord’s Supper, congregational life, and the autonomy of the local church. We live in hope of Christ’s return and the restoration of all things, seeking to walk together in love, holiness, generosity, and faithfulness as we follow Him.
